Milaca is a member of the East Central Youth Football League (ECYFL). This league combines practices with games against area community teams

The ECYFL includes the communities of Braham, Milaca, Pine City, Rush City, Ogilvie & Hinckley-Finlayson

Changes to the league rules for the 2019 season include:

• No special teams for 4th & 5th grade

• 6th grade can punt OR take 20 yards

  • Must decide at beginning of each game if team will punt or take 20 yards

  • Teams do not have to agree (1 can punt, the other can take 20 yards)

  • Whichever is chosen, must remain throughout game

• Mouth guards be tethered to helmet at all times

• Time clock changes

  • 4-15-minute quarters (12-minute quarters played in 2018)

  • 2-time outs per half

  • 5 minute half-time

  • Clock to stop for injury only

  • Clock will not stop for change of possession

• Game times

  • Will remain at 0900/1015/1130
